Chloe Sasson

Chloe Sasson has a long career in finance both in non profit and corporate accounting. She served as Controller for a major arts center in Westchester, NY from 1997 through 2004 where she was instrumental in bringing their financial standing out of a large deficit to a surplus position. During her tenure she developed and installed all the financial and computer systems including regular budgeting; accounting, registration and scheduling database systems and development, event and fund accounting systems.


Chloe ran her own accounting and systems consulting company from 1993 through 1996 where she managed several clients accounting and software needs for both non profit and small business owners referred to her by big five and mid size accounting firms.


Her corporate career includes a Controllership with Dansk International Designs where she managed all the accounting, finance and reporting functions for the three hundred million company's retail, wholesale and importing divisions. During her tenure as Controller, Chloe selected and implemented all new systems in G/L, A/P, A/R, POS, F/A and reporting as well as developing integrated reporting systems for statistical data in the retail outlet division. She went on to a project accounting position with the Lenox and Gorham divisions of Brown, Forman Company (after Dansk was acquired by the conglomerate) where she oversaw the conversion of their retail accounting over to the systems she had implemented for Dansk.


Prior to her career with Dansk she was the personal Accounting Manager for a major heiress to the Flagler fortune where she researched all real assets back to acquisition and developed financial records and reporting for five major estates and investments. She is currently the Controller for a privately owned home remodeling business in Westchester where she is implementing new estimating, reporting, cost accounting and budgeting systems.


Chloe also has enjoyed an impressive career as a Music Director and/or Conductor for well over a hundred productions in professional and community theatres. Her credits with Dennis Edenfield include equity/stock productions of La Cage aux Folles, Music Man, A Chorus Line and Evita. Chloe's major credits include Evita and Fiddler on The Roof with Craig Schulman, Maury Yeston's Phantom with Sandra Joseph and Joy Franz, The Music Man with Michael McGrath, Jesus Christ Superstar with Romain Frugé, The Man of La Mancha with Edmond Verrato, Guys and Dolls with Peter Samuel; other productions or events with Alan Menken, Meg Bussert, Steven Boockvor, Dennis Edenfield, James Mellon, Ann Crumb, John Tracey Eagan and many others. In 2004 Chloe conducted the 25th Anniversary Gala for NWCA at Purchase College in NY featuring Vanessa Williams and Alan Menken with appearances by Paul Schaeffer, Richard Gere, Stephen Lang and James Earl Jones.
